Gen Z is ready to see all their faves and more this year at the 2023 BET Awards. The nominees have just been released and we are going crazy ready to cheer on our fellow Gen Z members. We're beyond excited to see who takes the crown for “Album of the Year." Nominees include "Anyways, Life’s Great" GloRilla, "Breezy" Chris Brown, "God Did" DJ Khaled, "Her Loss" Drake & 21 Savage, "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers" Kendrick Lamar, "Renaissance" Beyoncé and "SOS" SZA. We already know the SOS warriors will be fighting for SZA's win as we know how dominant they can be when it comes to Queen Solana. Did we forget that SZA has had to extend her SOS tour again, after crashing the Ticketmaster website.
Not to mention all of the tik tok hotties who are being nominated for best new artist. Gen Z has definitely been screaming the lyrics to all these artist's songs since the beginning of the year. We're extremely happy to see our UK girlies FLO, make this year's nominations for “Best New Artist” alongside others like Doechii, Coco Jones, Ambré, GloRilla, Ice Spice & don't play with Ms. Lola Brooke cause she's made this years nominations too.
We can't forget the main reason Gen Z is tuning into the BET Awards this year!! To see all of our male celebrity crushes, especially the ones nominated for “Best Male Hip Hop Artist.” This list of nominees consists of our First Class connoisseur Jack Harlow, next to the Certified Lover Boy Drake, 21 Savage, Future, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and ATL's very own Lily Baby.
